Take Action Every Day

Take Action Every Day
Life can get crazy.

Especially when you start adding goals to your life and taking action toward achieving them.

But here’s one thing I know to be true: simply planning your daily tasks and taking action toward your OolaLife is often what will calm the craziness and make you feel more in control. It’s like a pattern interrupt. You’re taking charge of your future.

But don’t just stop with researching and planning. Now’s the time to ensure you do what’s necessary to go the remaining distance.

 Start taking action today.

Grab a 3x5 card and write down three things that will get you closer to one of your major goals. That little card is one of the most powerful and life-changing tools available to you.

When I first read the book Oola: Finding Balance in an Unbalanced World for Women by authors Dr. Dave Braun and Dr. Troy Amdahl, I realized the power of this daily “3x5 Card Strategy” for getting things done and achieving goals that will change your life.

What would YOUR daily 3x5 card look like?

If you find it’s filled with tasks, errands and calls that don’t really move you closer to your biggest life goals, it’s time to reassess your priorities.

Only by prioritizing can you free up time and energy to be in serious action on goals that matter.
As a Certified Oola Life Coach, I help clients create a list of goals, then prioritize their tasks and—most importantly—stay accountable to accomplishing them week by week. In fact, I’ve joined forces with Dave and Troy to bring my followers the Oola formula via a Transform coaching experience designed to transform your life, your finances, your relationships and more. Message me and we can jump on a call about it.

Stay Committed, Stay on Task

Stay Committed, Stay on Task
“There’s always a way . . . if you’re committed.”

I love this quote from Tony Robbins, the bestselling author of Unlimited Power. It gives us hope for a bigger, brighter future. But it also comes with a warning: you gotta stay on task.

If you’ve been following my posts recently, you’ve already decided what you want in life . . . and you’ve researched the steps to get there.

Now, it’s time to “stay on task.” Here’s a strategy I love that I learned from The OolaGuys, Dr. Dave Braun and Dr. Troy Amdahl, founders of the worldwide Oola Coaching Network. The three of us are working together to bring my followers an effective path to the life you want—where you’re balanced, happy, and growing. We call it the OolaLife.

Grab a 3x5 card and divide it in half by drawing a vertical line down the center. List the things you have to accomplish for work on one half—and the things you have to accomplish at home on the other. Whether it’s finishing that sales report or running errands—whatever is important today—write it down.

If you want to start your own business, for instance—because you know you could earn more and have time freedom, too—could you write down: “Contact the local SCORE office to find a business startup mentor”?

If your dream life includes retiring early, could you write down: “Contact a financial planner for help calculating how much money I’ll need”?

Instead of being faced with a big scary task list, you can break down major tasks into smaller actions for your 3x5 card: a few every day until they’re complete.

As a Certified Oola Life Coach, I help clients create a set of goals, then prioritize their tasks and—most importantly—stay accountable to accomplishing them week by week. In fact, I’ve joined forces with Dave and Troy to bring my followers the Oola formula via a 10-week coaching experience designed to transform your life, your finances, your relationships and more. Message me and we can jump on a call about it.

Are You Feeling Inadequate? 3 Things to Do to DREAM again!!

Are You Feeling Inadequate? 3 Things to Do to DREAM again!!

As I sit here waiting for my next Uber Eats assignment, I have time to sit in the quiet.  I pray and ponder my next steps of the day. Also the next steps of life.

This morning,  and last night, I had yet another argument with my son. We seem to have some good moments that last for a few weeks, then we seem to be so upheavaled and out of sorts,  I don't know how to act or what to say. Will what I say set him off?

I'm a Certified Life Coach and a Parent Mentor.  I sometimes feel, how can I help these other moms when my own family is so chaotic.  How can I offer support when I feel I need it myself??

Do you ever feel that way?  Do you ever feel like you are inadequate?

I have to remind myself,  I am not perfect.  I will have trials as well as victories. I am good enough to help others.  I can reach back, even if I'm a step or two ahead!

I have to remember,  I have been through so much. Because of that, I am able to teach and coach others through their trials, and rejoice in their victories!! I can come along the mom who needs encouragement and support!!

YOU are enough!! YOU have what it takes!! YOU are YOU!!

If we stand still,  we are not moving forward.  If we don't take a step out in faith, we cannot grow.

If we are not growing, we are stuck!!

We can choose to GROW!  We can choose to STEP in Faith!!  We can MOVE Forward!!

We will have moments of trials, but What we learn from those moments is how we GROW!!

When we learn to PIVOT is how we can Move!!

You are an Amazing MOM!

I encourage YOU to Look up!  Say a Prayer and Step out in Faith!!

I encourage YOU to DREAM!!

The Campaign Begins

The Campaign Begins
Why does life seem so overwhelming? We set goals and have good intentions, but there never seems to be enough time, money or energy for achieving life’s biggest goals.

Instead of making progress, our lives seem even more out of balance.
Well, for the next few weeks, I’d like to help you overcome the overwhelm and work on achieving balance in every major life category.

How will we do that?
Using a strategy I learned from Dr. Dave Braun and Dr. Troy Amdahl, authors of the bestselling book, Oola: Find Balance in an Unbalanced World: identify where you’re out of balance, then jot down three tasks a day that will move you toward balance in that area of your life.
Here’s an example:
If your finances are a mess and credit card debt is causing you extra stress, your to-do list might look like this:
1. Make a list of all debts in order of total amount due
2. Make an extra payment (today) on the smallest debt while still making minimum payments on the others
3. Investigate ways to make extra money to pay off all debt

START NOW: IDENTIFY WHERE YOU’RE OUT OF BALANCE
You CAN overcome the overwhelm. To start, identify your biggest stressor in each of “The 7 F’s of Oola” (below). Write down your list in a journal or on your smartphone, so you can refer back to it. Are you out of balance in:
Fitness: Excess weight? Poor nutrition? Little exercise?
Finance: Crushing debt? No retirement plan? Too many bills?
Family: Need boundaries? Marriage on life support?
Field: Career stress? No free time? Low pay or benefits?
Faith: No real relationship with God? Need a daily practice?
Friends: Toxic friends that bring you down? Need mentors?
Fun: No time for fun? Waiting until you’re older or retired?

Whatever is stressing you, let’s work together to completely transform your life into one that’s balanced, happy and growing. I’ve joined forces with Dave and Troy to bring my followers the Oola formula via a 10-week coaching experience designed to transform your life, your finances, your relationships and more. Message me and we can jump on a call about it.

Then stay tuned for the next few weeks for even more ways to bringing balance to your life . . . Oola style.

Bring Balance to Fitness

Bring Balance to Fitness
It’s already February, and if you celebrated New Year’s Day with a resolution to get healthier in 2021, I have a question: have you stayed on track with your fitness goals?

One of the best outcomes of creating a balanced life is enjoying the basics: adequate sleep, nutritious food, time for exercise—plus bandwidth to handle longstanding conditions that cause pain, embarrassment or anxiety.
But you don’t have to arrive at the “ideal life” to enjoy vibrant well-being. Simply starting the journey toward being fit and healthy will boost your energy, immunity and brain function. And a daily walk around the neighborhood delivers noticeable results.

In the time that I’ve been a Certified Oola Life Coach working personally with bestselling authors Dr. Dave Braun and Dr. Troy Amdahl, I’ve discovered that taking action and staying committed to your goals will get you further – faster – than almost any other approach. Fitness is one area where this focus and commitment really pays off.
To help my followers stay accountable to taking small steps toward their goals, I recently joined forces with Dave and Troy to deliver a 10-week coaching experience designed to transform your life, your finances, your relationships and more. Message me and we can jump on a call about it.

While the Oola coaching formula works to bring balance in 7 major life areas, I have to say: it rocks when it comes to meeting health goals, slimming down, and gaining the confidence that comes from being date-night ready.
It can help you define the goals you want to achieve, and keep you accountable to doing those things every day that bring about the results you want.

Check out Oola Coaching and work with me every week to find balance and calm the overwhelm in major life areas like finances, fitness, family, field (career) and more.
