Encourageing Words

Stay Committed, Stay on Task

Stay Committed, Stay on Task
“There’s always a way . . . if you’re committed.”

I love this quote from Tony Robbins, the bestselling author of Unlimited Power. It gives us hope for a bigger, brighter future. But it also comes with a warning: you gotta stay on task.

If you’ve been following my posts recently, you’ve already decided what you want in life . . . and you’ve researched the steps to get there.

Now, it’s time to “stay on task.” Here’s a strategy I love that I learned from The OolaGuys, Dr. Dave Braun and Dr. Troy Amdahl, founders of the worldwide Oola Coaching Network. The three of us are working together to bring my followers an effective path to the life you want—where you’re balanced, happy, and growing. We call it the OolaLife.

Grab a 3x5 card and divide it in half by drawing a vertical line down the center. List the things you have to accomplish for work on one half—and the things you have to accomplish at home on the other. Whether it’s finishing that sales report or running errands—whatever is important today—write it down.

If you want to start your own business, for instance—because you know you could earn more and have time freedom, too—could you write down: “Contact the local SCORE office to find a business startup mentor”?

If your dream life includes retiring early, could you write down: “Contact a financial planner for help calculating how much money I’ll need”?

Instead of being faced with a big scary task list, you can break down major tasks into smaller actions for your 3x5 card: a few every day until they’re complete.

As a Certified Oola Life Coach, I help clients create a set of goals, then prioritize their tasks and—most importantly—stay accountable to accomplishing them week by week. In fact, I’ve joined forces with Dave and Troy to bring my followers the Oola formula via a 10-week coaching experience designed to transform your life, your finances, your relationships and more. Message me and we can jump on a call about it.

Are You Feeling Inadequate? 3 Things to Do to DREAM again!!

Are You Feeling Inadequate? 3 Things to Do to DREAM again!!

As I sit here waiting for my next Uber Eats assignment, I have time to sit in the quiet.  I pray and ponder my next steps of the day. Also the next steps of life.

This morning,  and last night, I had yet another argument with my son. We seem to have some good moments that last for a few weeks, then we seem to be so upheavaled and out of sorts,  I don't know how to act or what to say. Will what I say set him off?

I'm a Certified Life Coach and a Parent Mentor.  I sometimes feel, how can I help these other moms when my own family is so chaotic.  How can I offer support when I feel I need it myself??

Do you ever feel that way?  Do you ever feel like you are inadequate?

I have to remind myself,  I am not perfect.  I will have trials as well as victories. I am good enough to help others.  I can reach back, even if I'm a step or two ahead!

I have to remember,  I have been through so much. Because of that, I am able to teach and coach others through their trials, and rejoice in their victories!! I can come along the mom who needs encouragement and support!!

YOU are enough!! YOU have what it takes!! YOU are YOU!!

If we stand still,  we are not moving forward.  If we don't take a step out in faith, we cannot grow.

If we are not growing, we are stuck!!

We can choose to GROW!  We can choose to STEP in Faith!!  We can MOVE Forward!!

We will have moments of trials, but What we learn from those moments is how we GROW!!

When we learn to PIVOT is how we can Move!!

You are an Amazing MOM!

I encourage YOU to Look up!  Say a Prayer and Step out in Faith!!

I encourage YOU to DREAM!!

Do You Talk to Your Plants??? How do you USE your Words??

Do You Talk to Your Plants??? How do you USE your Words??

Do You Talk to Your Plants??

What a strange question...or is it??

Words can ENCOURAGE!!  Words can discourage!

You can SPEAK LIFE!!  You can speak death!

What you say can LIFT UP!!  What you say can cut down!

Who do you speak to? Your spouse? Your child?  YOURSELF?

YES! YOURSELF!!  Even words you say to yourself can make a HUGE difference. You can Encourage…. Speak Life…. Lift up yourself!!

Or the words you speak to yourself can cause discouragement, death of self-esteem or bring you down.

Words carry a frequency!  I know this sounds way out there!  I’ve heard about an experiment of two containers of rice.  One was spoken love to!  One was spoken hate to!!  But try this experiment!!!  See what happened!!  I’ll try it also and post my results!!!

When I’m out watering my plants, I sometimes find myself talking to them. Encouraging them! Excited to see new growth...NEW LIFE!!  This reminds me, I need to also Encourage, Speak Life and Lift UP my family, my kids … and myself!!

Just like new life and new transformation can grow in plants, it can also grow in others!  It can grow in YOU!!  Remember to Speak Life to you!!

I Can Do All Things Through CHRIST Who Strengthens Me” is one of my favorite verses to encourage myself!!

Say “I CAN!!”  “I WILL!!”  “I AM ABLE!!”

I CAN walk daily!  I WILL reach my goal!  I AM ABLE to do this thing!!

REMEMBER YOU ARE AMAZING!!

YOU ARE ENOUGH!!

YOU GOT THIS!!!

Tell YOURSELF THAT!!! Tell others That!!

Speaking of Encouraging words!  I also find what music I listen to makes a difference in how I feel.  I mostly listen to Christian / Worship music, in the car, at home, etc. I feel ENCOURAGED, POSITIVE!!  When I don’t, say the kids or husband are listening to something else or I relive my younger self music - I really can feel a difference!!

Challenge!   Text HOPE to 816-239-8829 then Listen to only Christian and / or Worship music for 30 days!  Find a Christian radio station!  Play a playlist of Worship music!  30 days!!!  See how you feel!!  Tell me what happened in the comments!!!

Meet Tammie Taylor

I’ve been in the Trenches!!  From a childhood of multiple doctors, to living with an alcoholic father, to an abusive spouse, to going through the Journey with a son with severe mental health diagnosis’

Hello!  My name is Tammie!!

From the time I was a baby, I lived a life of constant doctors, specialists and medicine! My parents had to clap on my side to loosen secretions. We visited the doctors and pharmacy often!! I even have stained teeth from one of the meds. As a young adult, my lungs were so full of gunk, I had to have a lobe removed. Even then I was still affected by lung issues often.

Along with my low physical wellness, I have also endured emotional trauma from domestic violence! This caused emotional scars both from childhood and a previous marriage. Scars I have learned to stuff deep inside myself. Scars that caused hopelessness and self harm. Scars that affect my family and relationships today!

My children were born from my heart. This means they also come with emotional scars from trauma. We saw behaviors that stem from either past childhood experiences or developmental delays.

In 1994, I found an answer to my hopelessness. I found PEACE!!!  Peace and HOPE in Christ!!

Because of my HOPE in Christ!  I feel I can “Do all things through CHRIST who STRENGTHENS Me!”  I feel I have a way out of the Trenches!  I have a ROCK to stand on!!

Do you feel Hopeless, like you are drowning, Like you are in the TRENCHES?

What JOURNEY are you on?  What choices have your tried?

I would love to come alongside you, offer you support.  Offer you Tools, if you will, to get you through the JOURNEY!!  To get you out of the trenches and to a LiFE of HOPE, PURPOSE so you are BALANCED and GROWING!!
