Choose Your Dream Lifestyle

Choose Your Dream Lifestyle
Like a lot of people, you may be thinking, “The world feels unbalanced. But your life doesn’t have to be.
In fact, your life (and your lifestyle) can be happy, growing, purpose-filled, and a whole lot of fun…everything you dreamed it could be.

All it takes is planning and achieving one big breakthrough goal that will deliver the lifestyle you want.
The idea of a breakthrough goal is something I learned from Dr. Dave Braun and Dr. Troy Amdahl – authors of Oola: Find Balance in an Unbalanced World. They call this life-changing goal your OolaOne.

Now, as a Certified Oola Life Coach, I help clients tackle what’s not working before we go to work defining your OolaOne, then correcting the stressors and bringing about the lifestyle, relationships and financial security you need to be happy, balanced and growing.

So what could the OolaLife look like for you?
Fitness: Ideal body? Good nutrition? Optimum health?
Finance: Debt-free? Retirement handled? High net worth?
Family: Happy, growing kids? Marriage blissful and loving?
Field: Career you love? Earning what you’re worth?
Faith: Daily walk with God? Plenty of time for study?
Friends: Supportive tribe that’s got your back?
Fun: Plenty of time for fun and bucket-list adventures?

Of course, the 7 areas above come from The OolaGuys. If you’ve been following my past posts, you know that I’ve joined forces with Dave and Troy to bring my followers the Oola formula via a 10-week coaching experience designed to transform your life, your finances, your relationships and more. Message me and we can jump on a call about it.

Breakthrough Career Goal

Breakthrough Career Goal

Are you in your right livelihood? Are you in a career you love, doing what you want to do?

Part of living a balanced, happy life is doing work that inspires and delights you: you’re good at it, you’re needed, and you love everything about the 6-10 hours a day you spend doing it.
Whether it’s working at a local company . . . raising amazing kids as a full-time mom . . . or running your own show with a business you started, what single breakthrough goal – when achieved – would help you grow in your career, have more fun, show up in a bigger way, or finally make the kind of income you dream of?

That kind of goal is worth planning carefully and focusing on every day until it’s achieved.

Through coaching all kinds of people, I’ve discovered that career upgrades and business-building are two of the best goals to work on with a life coach. Without family pressure, opinions, or judgment, we can look at what YOU really want and how you might transition—safely and sensibly—into a situation that’s far better than the one you’re in now.

And, by the way? If this latest crisis has eliminated your job altogether, it may be the excuse you need to pursue the worklife of your dreams.

So why not comment below and tell me about YOUR dream career.  What’s a breakthrough goal that would get you there?

Then message me to talk more about how coaching works to improve careers, businesses, full-time parenting—even pursuing volunteer or church work.

You were made for greatness. Together, let’s help you achieve it in 2021.

Peace in the Chaos

Peace in the Chaos

Are you a mom?  Do you have one child or multiple children? Do you have children with Special Needs?

I am a mom of three children.  My children were born of the heart.  I feel very blessed that God called me to care for these three children.

With the Joys of raising these children comes the valleys of tough times as well.  We have had our share of tears, shouts of frustration and heartaches.

During our JOURNEY, we learned about the Autism Spectrum.  We were introduced to Mental Illness.  We had to journey through Rare Genetic Disorders and Seizures.  Along with them come Behaviors and Meltdowns.   Our home is often Chaotic.

Chaotic with a child, I feel like I walk on eggshells with. Chaos of, will we have a meltdown Explosion today!??

In this Chaos, I find Peace with my Savior, Jesus Christ.  He is my ANCHOR in this Storm.

One of my favorite songs is Casting Crowns, “Praise You in This Storm!”

(I do not own the rights to this song!)

One day after having to admit my son once again to the psychiatric hospital, I was driving home.  I was praying, crying out!  I was frustrated, wanted help for my son.  This song comes on the radio.  It really spoke to me.  My tears fell harder.

Praise God in the Storm!  He sees you!  He holds your tears!!  He is with YOU!!

This Journey, This Storm, This Life is not easy!  It definitely has its highs.  It also has the lows.

Psalm 62:6-7 - "He only is my ROCK and my SALVATION; He is my DEFENSE; I shall not be moved. In God is my Salvation and my Glory; The ROCK of my Strength, AND my REFUGE, is in God!!"

Do you know Jesus?  Do you have a ROCK to lean on your storm?  If not, call out to Him.  If you need guidance through this, reach out to me.

I’m not saying it will be all rainbows and butterflies, but ….

I know I can’t manage this Journey without Him.

Find People to Help You!

Find People to Help You!
You probably have a list of people you call on a regular basis: your sister, your friends, your favorite take-out restaurant.

But do you have a list of people you call to help you with your most important life goals? Do you have a list of mentors or accountability partners who can help you achieve your OolaOne breakthrough goal and create the ultimate lifestyle you want?

Right now, you have an opportunity to reshape your life into something amazing—a life where you’re happy, balanced, and growing (with a lot less stress)—but also a life where you’re looking forward to what else the world has in store for you.

Of course, we all have that opportunity, but many of us just need a little help. That’s where I come in. As a Certified Oola Life Coach, I help people from all walks of life plan for the future and stay accountable for making progress.
The reality is we don’t always have someone in our life who can fill this role. Loved ones, spouses and friends are rarely impartial. In fact, they’re far too close to our situation to be neutral. If you’ve ever asked a friend to be your workout buddy or financial accountability partner—only to have them flake on your regular meetups—you know what I mean. A professional is really the only person who will be dedicated to your success over time.

Do you need someone to step you through the process of mapping out your breakthrough goal—then keep you focused on creating that amazing future?

It only takes 10 weeks to make massive progress. In fact, I’ve teamed up with my favorite human-potential experts—Dr. Dave Braun and Dr. Troy Amdahl, authors of Oola: Find Balance in an Unbalanced World—to deliver a 10-week coaching program designed to help you get your own OolaLife.

Message me and we can jump on a 30-minute call to discuss it.  Or check out the 10-week Oola Coaching Program here for details.

Let’s work together to make it happen for you.

Daily Habits + Your One Thing

Daily Habits + Your One Thing
Did you see my last post about choosing one breakthrough goal in 2021 – a goal that would uplevel every area of your life?
(If you did choose a goal, and you can reveal it publicly, drop it into the comment section and share it!)

Sometimes big goals, like your OolaOne goal, seem scary and unattainable. So the Oola Guys – Dr. Dave Braun and Dr. Troy Amdahl, authors of the book Oola: Find Balance in an Unbalanced World – recommend a handy tool that helps you take small steps toward your goal every day: the humble 3x5 card.
Every morning, grab a 3x5 card and divide it in half (by drawing a vertical line down the center). List the things you need to accomplish for work on one half—and the things you need to accomplish at home on the other. Whatever is important today, write it down.

When you’re finished writing, your list may surprise you.
If you find your card is filled with tasks, errands and calls that don’t really move you closer to your biggest life goal, it’s time to reassess your priorities.
For example, if your goal is to be 100% debt-free, could you do one thing every day toward eliminating your debt?
Instead of writing down “Order that necklace for Tanya’s birthday,” your 3x5 card might read: “List outstanding bills in a spreadsheet.” Instead of “Start new car shopping,” your card could read “Move $100 from checking account to auto loan.”
See what I mean? Once it’s written down, you can see what makes sense (or not), and write a different to-do list that gets you closer to your best life ever.
As a Certified Oola Life Coach, I help clients determine their OolaOne goal, then prioritize their daily tasks and—most importantly—stay accountable to accomplishing them week after week. In fact, I’ve joined forces with Dave and Troy to bring my followers the Oola formula via a 10-week coaching experience designed to transform your life, your finances, your relationships and more.
